Summer Ends, Cody Charges the Course, and Caroline gets a tooth!!!

Fall is sometimes my favorite season
, sometimes it's my least favorite season. Things seem to be new in the fall, new classes, new hopes, new dreams, a new ski season approachingSki movies are also released in the Fall, and we all know I am biting my nails till I get my stock in the mail. Maybe having such a cute little baby around will make this the best fall to date!

Jordan starts school this week and I have never been busier. In Montana, September is a time to close shop and prepare for the snow. Jordan and I have a million projects going. It seems like once I get off on fridays, I am almost excited to work at home on the weekends. And to hang with Mama and baby.

As these long days end and the temps slowly drop during the night time, Caroline is approaching seven months and has registered as a 9.9 on the richter scale of cutie-ness.

This summer we have had a flock of family in town. It has really been nice to have someone special in town all the time. Aunts, uncles, parents, siblings, grandparents....it has been a full boat.

Jennifer and Tony have spent a good deal of time with us in Montana. Jennifer has been a big help to us, always willing to lend a hand. And Tony has been a blast as usual. They are currently splitting time between Bozeman and Dallas, with hopes of spending some time in North Carolina at a the beach.

Sue and Chuck Humphrey graced us with their Canadian presence. They hail from Alberta, but both have Yankee roots.

Jordan has been adding to her reputation as a tough chick. She has stuck with her running and is loving it. She recently had her wisdom teeth taken out, without anesthesia ! She did not want Caroline to not be able to have her mom or her milk for 24 hours. She toughed it out, expected. She also added a little piece of art, while recovering.

The Bike Race
The whole family went up to Big Sky to watch Cody race his mountain bike, and to go to church. The race time was moved forward due to the amount of riders, so we missed Cody's actual timed run. He did well though, got 7th out of more than 30 riders. We had lunch at Big Sky and enjoyed the gorgeous views and weather.
